It also gives the Soul its cool, confident appearance. The spacious hatchback has a front headroom of 39.4 inches and near-equal rear headroom of 39.5 inches. It also offers 41.1 inches of front legroom and 38.8 inches of rear legroom. Adult passengers will enjoy the ride in either the front or back row.

The 2022 Kia Soul has two rows of seating and accommodates up to five people. Even with every seat full, the six-way manual driver’s seat, four-way manual front passenger seat, and standard cloth upholstery help keep everybody comfortable. There are two complete sets of LATCH connectors for the rear outboard seats and a child-seat tether anchor at the rear middle chair.

When shopping for the standard 2022 Soul LX, you have your choice between an interior appointed in black woven cloth or gray two-tone woven cloth. From there, a few other interior upholstery colors are available. For the X-Line, your only option is black woven cloth but upgrade to the S or the EX for either gray two-tone tricoat cloth or black tricoat cloth. The GT-Line is also only available in one interior option, black tricoat cloth. If you’re looking for a sportier interior, go with the Turbo. It features black SynTex and cloth upholstery with red stitching and textured highlights.
The Soul is known for its exciting variety of exterior colors, but the interior color options are quite broad as well. Those who upgrade to the Turbo will be very pleased with the sporty vibe from the red accents.
2022 Kia Soul Infotainment and Audio
Kia’s UVO infotainment system features an 8-inch touch screen with a rearview camera function, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a six-speaker audio system, Bluetooth, and a USB port. You can use remote keyless entry on any trim level. On all but the LX model, a 10.25-inch touch screen with split-screen functions, navigation, UVO Link, and SiriusXM appears in place of the 8-inch screen.
You can customize your Soul to be as utilitarian or extravagant as you like. Available sound-based mood lighting creates soothing color patterns to the beat of whatever you’re playing. An available Harman Kardon audio system, carrying 10 speakers and an amplifier, is twice as powerful as the equivalent from the prior year.
