Han’s Bakery is a family bakery with a history dating back to the 1970s. The bakery offers a selection of cakes, cupcakes, pastries, tortes, cookie bars, and doughnuts. While Han’s Bakery briefly closed from 2010 to 2013, the new ownership uses the same German recipes to make the same delicious treats that the original owners used.

Han’s Bakery has no shortage of delectable doughnuts to try. The Birkner Box offers a baker’s dozen sampling of some of its most popular cake doughnuts, raised doughnuts, rolls, and pastries. For a bigger appetite, consider one of the Texas doughnuts, which are oversized raised doughnuts available with glaze, chocolate frosting, or white frosting. Another signature item from Han’s Bakery is the beehive. This is a coffee cake filled with Bavarian cream, topped with powdered sugar and candied almonds. Bloedow Bakery opened in 1924. While three generations of the Bloedow family owned and operated the bakery, the Hugh and Mary Polus are now responsible for the bakery.
