Strikers Corner

Strikers Corner has been serving upscale American eats and creating happy memories for over 20 years. Whether you are treating the whole family, meeting a date, or just hanging out with friends, everyone loves Strikers. Breakfast options include a variety of platters that include farm-fresh eggs and homemade hash browns, eggs Benedict, sweet cream pancakes, biscuits and gravy, steak and eggs, and omelets made to order. From 8 a.m. to noon on the weekend, Strikers Corner offers its local-favorite omelet bar breakfast.
The lunch and dinner menu include lots of sandwiches, wraps, and burgers. Daily dinner specials include an all-you-can-eat taco bar, prime rib, and homemade meatloaf. A kid’s menu is available and includes pint-sized portions for little ones.
The bowling alley at Strikers Corner is a popular hangout thanks to the impeccable lanes and full-service bar. Open-play bowling is only $4 per game, and shoe rental is a steal at $2. Be sure to check out their bowling specials, including date night bowling packages that combine Strikers’ delicious food and bowling fun. In addition to a bowling alley, Strikers Corner has arcade games and pool tables. If you love to sing, check out Friday night karaoke and then dance to the in-house DJ till closing. You can enjoy the music of local musicians on Saturday evenings.
Strikers Corner is on County Road 15. Dining room hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Tarsilla’s Café
Tarsilla’s Café is a popular locally owned family restaurant serving up time-honored family recipes. Breakfast is served all day and includes favorites such as corned beef hash, chicken fried steak, ham and eggs, and eggs Benedict. If you visit Tarsilla’s Café for breakfast, be sure to try their sausage gravy made from the same family recipe for over 30 years. Other breakfast options include pancakes, French toast, omelets, and breakfast wraps. Those with a sweet tooth will enjoy the shareable homemade cinnamon rolls and caramel pecan rolls.
If you head to Tarsilla’s Café for dinner, you can choose from hand-cut sirloin steak, fried fish, old-fashioned beef liver and onions, salads, wraps, and homemade meatballs. Tarsilla’s delicious homemade soups include chicken wild rice with rich Minnesota cream. The burger options are plentiful at Tarsilla’s and include specialty burgers such as the Flame Thrower, crafted with Buffalo sauce, jalapeños, and pepper jack cheese. Every burger is on an in-house, freshly baked kaiser bun. The Friday night fish fry is very popular and includes all-you-can-eat fish or shrimp.
Be sure to save room for Tarsilla’s homemade pies, including apple caramel, mandarin orange, and coconut cream. Tarsilla’s Café is on North Main Street. Tarsilla’s friendly staff starts serving at 6 a.m. Tuesdays through Saturday and at 7 a.m. on Sunday.
New Hunan
If you are looking for the best Chinese food in Stewartville, look no further than the family-owned restaurant New Hunan. With their generous portions, friendly staff, and expansive menu, New Hunan has a dish sure to please every craving. Traditional appetizers on the menu include egg rolls, fried wontons, and crab Rangoon. The lemon chicken, crispy noodle chow mein, lo mein, mei fun, fried rice, and egg foo young are local favorites. There are many vegetarian options available, including broccoli with garlic sauce, fragrant vegetables, and snow peas with water chestnuts. Lunch and dinner specials are affordable, fast, and come with sides such as egg rolls and soups.
New Hunan is on First Street East in the heart of Stewartville. You can visit New Hunan from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and Sunday from noon to 9 p.m. Take-out and delivery are available.
Seth’s Down Under Bar and Grill

Seth’s Down Under Bar and Grill (aka The DU Bar and Grill) is known for its delicious comfort food at an affordable price. The friendly staff makes sure you have everything you need during your visit. Kids and adults alike will enjoy the complimentary popcorn while you wait for your meal.
Be sure to check out the ever-popular burger night every Wednesday at Seth’s. The DU Bar and Grill is a burger lover’s paradise with over 30 options on the menu. The Man Burger is crafted from a half-pound beef patty, two Buffalo chicken strips, bacon, three slices of cheese, and an egg cooked in the bun. Macaroni and cheese lovers must try the Mac-N-Cheese Burger that stacks a beef patty with homemade mac-n-cheese and bacon.
Other menu items include turkey melts, Philly cheesesteak, and fried chicken. All sandwiches are served on Seth’s freshly made buns. The bar also offers a large selection of ice-cold beer to enjoy with your meal. Seth’s offers a daily kids menu and kids eat free on Sunday.
You can find Seth’s Down Under Bar and Grill on South Main Street. They open at 4 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. on weekends. Online ordering is available.
Pizza Ranch
Pizza Ranch buffet is conveniently located near Riverview Greens and Bear Cave Park. At Pizza Ranch, you can make your pizza from the long list of crust styles, sauces, and toppings. Specialty pizzas include the all-veggie Prairie Pizza, all-meat Bronco Pizza, and the fan-favorite Macaroni and Cheese Pizza. Gluten-free crusts are available for those with special dietary needs.
Pizza Ranch is most known for its incredible buffet. The buffet at Pizza Ranch includes fried chicken and sides, a variety of soups, a salad bar, and a vast array of pizzas. If you visit Pizza Ranch, be sure to save room for Pizza Ranch’s famous Cactus Bread, made from pizza crust topped with cinnamon streusel and icing. Special buffet pricing is available for seniors and kids. You can visit Pizza Ranch on Second Avenue from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Carry out and delivery are also available.
