You must remain within sight of and in verbal control of your dog at all times while visiting the park.
In order to protect all park users and maintain a welcoming atmosphere, River Road Park also requires that when you arrive and leave, your dog is on a leash. Additionally, dogs should be leashed when in any areas of the park other than the designated off-leash portion. Owners must prevent fighting and biting, aggressive behavior, and loud, excessive barking.
