The Kia Telluride comes in 10 trim levels, giving you a variety of options to let your unique style and tastes shine through. The base model is the LX, and it’s followed by the S, EX, EX X-Line, SX, SX X-Line, SX X-Pro, SX Prestige, SX Prestige X-Line, and SX Prestige X-Pro. Even at the LX trim level, you’ll enjoy satin chrome window surround and lower door molding, front emergency tow hook attachment points, heated power side mirrors with turn signal indicators, and 18-inch silver-finish wheels. Upper trims offer features such as a rear spoiler, high-utility roof rails, and more.
The 2023 Honda Pilot is yet to be released, so the details on its features aren’t all in. However, you can expect this new version to have styling elements that give it a more rugged appearance than its predecessor. It offers only five trims: the Sport, EX-L, Touring, TrailSport, and Elite. The TrailSport is new for this model year and will offer off-road capabilities that outperform the rest of the lineup. It will have available features such as all-terrain tires, a one-touch power panoramic moonroof, and a power tailgate with a walkaway close feature for added convenience.

Staying connected is a part of life for most people, and when you drive the new Kia Telluride, you’ll have all the connectivity features you need when you’re on the go. A 12.3-inch touch-screen display lets you connect your smartphone through Android Auto or Apple CarPlay so you can easily access your apps. The standard six-speaker sound system lets you listen to your favorite songs loud and clear, and you can use Bluetooth wireless technology to stream your music over the sound system. You’ll find 12-volt power outlets in every row and a USB-C fast charging port up front.
The 2023 Pilot lets you access your apps through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity on a 7-inch touch screen, but you can upgrade to a 9-inch touch screen with wireless connectivity capabilities. We’re not sure what the standard audio system will be for the Pilot, but there’s talk of an upgrade to a 12-speaker sound system that will surely make your favorite songs sound better than ever. You’ll be able to see all your important driver information on the 7-inch cluster display or the available 10.2-inch display.
Power
All models of the 2023 Kia Telluride feature a powerful 3.8L V-6 engine under the hood that delivers an impressive 291 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. This setup is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that allows for smooth shifting and exceptional control. You can select from four drive modes to ensure you have the performance you need in any situation. Choose from comfort, sport, eco, and smart. If you have all-wheel drive, you’ll also get snow mode as another option.
You’ll find a 3.5L V-6 engine under the hood of the new Pilot models. This option is still pretty powerful, putting out 285 horsepower, which is an increase over 2022 models. It comes paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard across the lineup, but you can opt for all-wheel drive if you want improved traction for tackling off-road terrain.
Safety
Kia prides itself on offering vehicles that will keep you and your passengers safe on the road, and the Telluride keeps this tradition going strong. All 2023 Telluride trims have forward collision avoidance assist with pedestrian detection, blind-spot collision warning, rear cross-traffic collision avoidance assist, lane following assist, lane-keep assist, and a driver attention warning. An available 10-inch head-up display allows you to keep your eyes on the road, and the available surround-view monitor with 3D view gives you an aerial look at your surroundings.
